Sufa schools are day and boarding mixture schools consisting of three levels: Nursery, Primary, and Secondary School
It is an English Medium School that was incepted in 1998 by Madam Fatma Salum Abdalla to uplift and provide high-Quality Education in Zanzibar for the development of our society in the Future.
Sufa school is located in Zanzibar Urban West Region, Magharib B District, Tomondo. The school is along Kwerekwe to Kiembesamaki road about 800 meters off the main road from Gapco petroleum station

SUFA Schools emphasizes the importance of ‘Learning by Doing’. We believe learning should be interesting and practical. Almost every subject has Kits – Maths, Science, Environmental Science, etc. We intend to draw out and nurture their natural abilities, be it artistic, scientific or linguistic. A strong emphasis on holistic growth is emphasized with subjects like Public Speaking, Creative Writing, Theatre, Music, Dance and numerous internal and external competitions we provide. We look after an appropriate Teacher-Student Ratio, constant progress tracking of every child and tend to interject in the students, strong characteristic values.

The school was started to uplift the standard of education, which is why the Sufa Schools fees are affordable to every parent. The fees is paid quarterly or yearly and all payments are made through the bank. For more details visit the fee structure page on this website
Yes, Sufa schools give interviews to new pupils/students. This is done in order to gauge how best we can help your child for better performance.
All students from Nursery to Secondary school are required to wear Sufa school uniform.
Submission and interviewing of new pupils are finalized before the school is officially open in January.
However, due to challenges beyond our control, you may wish to bring your child in due course of the term; it is handled officially with the department responsible for the registration of new pupils/students. You’re all welcome at SUFA SCHOOLS.
Sufa School believes that qualified students who desire an education should not be denied that opportunity because of economic hardship. Thus, we are proud to offer financial aid (for new and existing Sufa Schools families) that helps us provide a balanced school community and at the same time keeps the school financially healthy. Please note that financial aid applications for new families can only be processed if the student’s admissions application is complete.
